in the coach Albertina Square walking along the streets in the city centre streets St Stephen Cathedral. It is the place where the opening ceremony of SCL music festival was being held. cute clouds :) ducks & ducklings swinnig in the small drain:) i love their flowers too :) it is just how they arrange them so sweet and lovely :)) nice nice flowers <3 this is how spacious their state park is :)) statue of Johan Strauss these are the benches where we were sitted... u can see pple lying on the grass oso.. lol=p how relaxing :P gigantic functioning clock in one of the state park:) gigantic clock again:) me and amelia mozart museum their alleys & their buildings ok tts all for now, will post again.. tts just day 2 in vienna :)

last week at this time, i was on the plane for my last hour of the journey back from vienna to singapore. it was such a great memories and a pleasant one (excluding those 'events' that happened). it was also the first trip out to the country with my friends. it was really a great memory. how i wish time can just stop there forever without coming back to singapore, having to face studies once again.. haha=p
it was my second time to vienna and salzburg. difference will b the weather and the purpose. this time went over there with NYPSO to take part in a competition and the season over there was summer. even though it was summer, the weather was quite cooling with temperatures hovering around 20 to 26 degrees. how i hope that siingapore weather will b the same:)

1st place in the category "Symphonic Band" with excellent success
Winner of the Summa Cum Laude Award of the City of Vienna in the category "Symphonic Band"
was happy to hear this results when they announced it during one of the dinners. but den sort of expected to hear the results cos we r only competing with one other australia band. nonetheless we still managed to emerged the first place and we managed to play in Musikverien which is said to the the top 3 concert halls in the world for twice.
the scenery there was beautiful, especially salzburg.. will post pictures ltr on. we changed 3 hotels in total. salzburg's hotel being the best which we had stayed throughout our entire trip. the 2 hotels in vienna was really.... our first hotel, euroairport hotel was quite ok just that i dun understand why muz they put the basin outside the toilet.. 2nd hotel, hotel academia was scary. haha=p so in terms of ranking it will b salzburg's hotel, eurohotel airport and then hotel acdemia the last.. lol=p

Woah! Last post was in 4th March.. haha=p. it is already 10 June now.. haha=p.. 3 mths since i last blogged..
A lot of things happened during this period of time. Let me think..
1stly, the unofficial graduation which meant our last day of our exam.. i forget where fy , ys n me went aft our last paper le.. but den the feeling was simply great to have finally graduated from nyp aft 3 yrs.. lol=p
aft the exam wk, went to east coast park to ride bike, rollerblade wif vina, fy n ys.. but den i only ride bicycle cos dunno how to rollerblade.. haha.. first time riding a double bike, together with ys.. eh find it quite tough to ride, still prefer single bike, much much easier to ride.. lol=p
after that week, started my job search.. looking for the area of hospitality and tourism industry which includes hotels, travel agencies and others.. went to numerous walk-in interviews for front office positions but den there were no news coming back from them. felt very disappointed then..
abt my uni plan, initially i thot that i will try to join the SIM-IMI program which is a 1.5 yr course.. half year study in singapore, 1 yr study n work in switzerland.. however, with my business diploma, i had to had at least 2 yrs of relevant work experience in the industry.. so, i was quite determined to get into tt course as its has always been my interest in this industry. started finding jobs along tt line but den din get any replys from them.. disappointed but wat can i do? theres nth tt i can do for them to accept me.. so no choice decided to change and applied SIM- RMIT & UOL. once again, a decision to make between those 2 cos i gt accepted by both. i will skip the decision making process and the final choice is SIM-RMIT. sure to meet a few poly friends in there de.. lol=p..
den registered myself with job recruit express to find a temp job for arnd 1 to 2 mths de.. but den none suits my time schedule.. the consultant has been giving me retail options which i cld nt commit cos i have band prac on wkdays night and i attending jap class on sundays oso.. hmmm.. so after 1 wk or so, my father ask me to go Regency leather to work.. haha.. first time working there, lol=p.. first impression doesnt really like there cos of their environment. my first visit to the toilet was welcomed by 2 crockroahes.. haha=p the admin dept is much small than fulco de.. haha=p maeb half the size.. den was told to sit in the accounts rm with my the other accounts colleague, Stephanie.
first few days, the workload is ok.. den stephanie left the company aft my first four days in the company, so i temporary owned the whole accts rm to myself.. lol=p the workload started increasing day by day.. haha.. aunty yvonne started teacvhing to do some accts stuff... haha-=p.. lol=p.. amde some mistakes regarding accts tasks.. lol=p..
time flies. i started work on 5 may, and i had alrdy worked for one mth n a few days.. wil b ending my work on 27 june cos wil b starting sch at SIM on 1st july.. haha..
oh ya, our nyp band gg over to vienna, austria for a band festival(competition)..gg over wif them but den i will miss 1 wk of sch which is nt gd.. haha.. sch starts on 1 july and i will b leaving on 3july morning and den will only b back only on 12 july.. haha=p but i tink shld b able to catch up ba..
ok, tts all for now, wanted to post pictures abt my past holiday de but den no time, maeb next post wil hv pics ba, too wordy liao, wonder who wil read the whole post.. lol=p

finally, finally, finally!!!!!!! cleared all of the projects le, except one which we will be presenting on saturday. that's the niggest project i tink, cos we will be having external judges from the industries to grade us. hope everything turns out nicely on saturday. for the past weeks, have been slping an average of 2 hours per day due to the projects. have 1 presentation on mon, 2 on tues, 1 on wed and another 1 on fri.. last wk was like... dunno how to describe.. somemore is after CNY lehz, den during CNY who wil hv mood to do project, so after CNY den do lohz, which is the projects weeks.. lol=p today oso gt presentation. finally, the ordeal is over and thus came here to blog. lol=p
very fast, friday will be my last day in NYP attending lessons le.. and then the following thurs will be the start of my exams. 28, 29 feb and 4 mar... so in all, around 13 more days to end my entire journey in NYP. den our grad ceremony think will be held in may ba.. the exams in one week time will be my last shot in my overall grade.
application of ntu, nus n smu are open alrdy.. still thinking of where to go, as in to work first and then go for switzerland program or study first. in a dilemna.
ya i keep harping on going to work in the hotel and travel industry. tts what i always wanted to do since secondary school.
i went for my first formal interview for the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport front office agent position and i was rejected.. tt was the very first interview tt i had in my whole entire life. the funny think was, i was not so nervous and i was quite calm throughout the whole session, but den i tink my answering skills and standards of english still nd to improve by a lot. i tink tt was the reason y i was rejected. but nvm, ti will keep trying till i get what i want.
there are quite a few job openings in hotels, saw their adverts on saturday's classfied. river view hotels, fullerton hotel, st regis and others.. but den all their walk-in interview falls on today n tmr, which i have not fully prepared and ready to go for their interview because of the tiring week tt i had juz gone through. think will start gg for interviews again aft my exams. need to b 100% prepared for the next interview le.. have to clinch every opportunity..
den back to the same old questions again, whether to work first or to study first. work first as in work for a few years then go back to study again.. i dunno. its confusing, i quite straighten out my thoughts.. lol=p.. time seems to be sort of running out le, cos some Uni application deadline are nearing. nvm, think will definitely b a solution de.. lol=p meanwhile, will first concentrate on my last final exam. aft tt den worry abt all these things.. haha..=p

Firstly, wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2008!!!
A brand new year in 2008! It will also marks the end of my poly studies. final exams will most prob end on the 1st or 2nd week 0f march. so fast. dont wan to touch on the uni topic again.. maeb ltr on when i feel like it. lol=p
recollection of 2007.
cant recollect much. end my tep in sch n did my attachment at shenton insurance. other than tt, it will b studies and of cos play lahz but i tink most of the time will b the latter.. lol=p. okok.. so tt kind of sum up my year in 2007.
resolutions in 2008.
i dun ususlly do any resolutions de. haha.. but den there are 2 resolutions that huiping gave to me a few days ago when i was chatting to her on msn. lol=p
1. don't procrastinate (which i tink applies to me too) lol=p
2. change lang settings b4 CNY. hahaha.. (is this considered a resolution? haha=p)
tmr sch reopen le. sian.. haha.. here come the projects again. lol=p

4 more days to 2008! time is juz like bullet train. it pass so quickly. 2 weeks of holidays had passed by so quickly and school is reopening next wed. omg. so fast so fast. played hard till today now its time for all the projects n revision le. lol=p.
i tink i lost the momentum to blog alrdy. oso dunno wat to say le. lol=p. maeb one day wil decided to close the blog. who knows?? hahaha=p ok, i m out of here alrdy. :P
